Bigger Lots East of Brandon
Once you get past the busiest stretch of SR-60 and head toward Lithia Pinecrest Road and the back roads beyond, the lots open up. Many Valrico owners have a house set back in the trees, a pasture behind it and a strip of thick woods along the property line. Over the years, that woods line creeps forward with sweetgum, cherry laurel, wax myrtle, grapevine and saw palmetto until half the usable land has disappeared.
We reclaim it with forestry mulching. The mulcher on our compact track loader chews through brush and small trees and spreads the material back on the ground. You keep the oaks and pines you want, lose the understory you do not, and end up with open, walkable woods or room for a fence, barn or garden.
Horse Properties and Pasture Upkeep
Valrico has its share of horse owners, and horse property needs steady care. Fallen limbs and dead trees near paddocks are a hazard to animals, and overgrown fence rows make it hard to repair wire or boards. We handle brush clean up along fences, take out dead pines and leaning oaks near barns, and grind stumps that could trip a horse or damage a mower.
- Clearing paths for new fencing and gates
- Opening up a back pasture that has gone to scrub
- Removing trees that drop limbs on riding arenas or trails

Getting a Homesite Ready to Build
Some Valrico acreage is still being split into homesites. Before a builder starts, the house pad, driveway path and septic area need to be cleared and the ground shaped. Our land clearing takes out trees and stumps where the home will sit, and land leveling smooths the rough ground left behind so water drains away from the future foundation.
We can also take down individual trees close to the build area with tree removal and leave the healthy shade trees you want to keep.
Weather on Valrico Acreage
Wooded lots take a beating in summer lightning storms and the occasional hurricane, and a single big pine across a long driveway can cut a family off from the road. We clear driveways first, then work through the rest of the property. In the dry season, cutting back brush and palmetto around the house and outbuildings is one of the simplest ways to reduce wildfire fuel on a rural lot.
We also serve the surrounding area, including Brandon and Plant City.
