A Community Still Being Built, One Lot at a Time
Poinciana was laid out decades ago with far more lots than houses, and many of those empty parcels have grown into thick stands of pine, oak, palmetto and vines. Today new homes keep filling in the gaps along Cypress Parkway, Poinciana Boulevard and Marigold Avenue. Whether you bought a single lot to build on or you are a builder with several addresses lined up, the first step is the same: open up the ground so surveyors, pad crews and inspectors can do their jobs.
Our lot clearing crews use a compact track loader with a mulching head for brush and small trees, and chainsaws plus a log grapple for larger pines and oaks. We can leave chosen trees standing, clear just the building footprint and yard, or take the lot down to bare soil, depending on your plans.
Living Next to the Woods
Homeowners in Poinciana often share a back fence with a lot nobody has touched in years. That brings a few common problems:
- Overhanging limbs and leaning pines from the neighboring parcel. We trim back to the property line or, with the right permission, take down the hazard with a planned tree removal.
- Brush creeping into the yard. Grapevine, smilax and palmetto move fast in the summer rain. Our brush clean up pushes it back and hauls it off.
- Dry-season fire worries. From late winter into May, dense palmetto and pine straw can carry fire toward houses. Creating a cleared buffer through fire risk reduction work is one of the most practical things a Poinciana homeowner on a wooded edge can do.

Wetlands, Wildlife and Rules to Check
Much of the land around Poinciana drains toward large conservation areas and wetlands, and some lots contain wet ground or protected species habitat. Before clearing, check with Osceola or Polk County, depending on which side of the line your lot sits, about permits and any environmental requirements. We can explain what is usually needed, and we plan the work so it fits what your permits allow.
Once the trees are down, we offer stump grinding or full stump removal so your pad or lawn starts clean.
