Growth Along US-301 and Fort Hamer Road
Not long ago, US-301 through Parrish ran past pasture, cattle, small farms and stands of pine and oak. Now new subdivisions, schools and shopping line the corridor, and the area between I-75, Moccasin Wallow Road and Fort Hamer Road keeps filling in. Even with all that building, there is still a lot of rural acreage on the east side toward SR-62 and the Hillsborough County line, and that is where many of our calls come from: families who bought five or ten acres and need a place cleared for a house, a driveway and a pole barn.
What a Parrish Clearing Job Usually Includes
Opening the land
Pasture edges and old hammocks here hold live oak, laurel oak, slash pine, cabbage palm and dense palmetto. We remove the trees you do not want with chainsaws and our wheel loader with log grapple, and grind the understory in place with a forestry mulcher. Forestry mulching is a good choice when you want to thin woods for a view or a trail without stripping the ground bare.
Getting the pad ready
For a house or barn, the building area needs to be free of stumps and roots. Our site preparation pulls stumps, clears roots and leaves a clean pad. Where the ground is uneven, land leveling smooths it out so water runs where it should.
Reaching the back of the property
Long Parrish parcels often need a way in. We cut and grade a stable lane through our access road construction service so trucks, trailers and equipment can reach the homesite in wet weather.

Wet Ground, Wildlife and the Rules
Parts of Parrish drain toward the Manatee River and the Little Manatee River, and low areas can hold water through the summer rainy season. We plan heavy machine work around that whenever possible. Wetlands, gopher tortoise burrows and protected trees may need extra steps, so check with Manatee County about permits before clearing begins. We will flag those spots and keep machines out of them.
A Short Drive From Tampa
Clearing is easier to plan when one crew handles the trees, the stumps and the driveway together, and that is how we price Parrish jobs. Parrish is just down I-75 or US-301 from our Tampa base, and we work in nearby Palmetto, Lakewood Ranch and Ruskin as well. Call us any day between 6 AM and 10 PM, in English or Spanish, and we will set up a free estimate on your land.
