What a Typical Eustis Tree Job Looks Like
Most calls we get from Eustis start the same way: a tree that has been there longer than anyone can remember is now dropping limbs, leaning or showing rot. Here is our process:
- Walk the property. We look at the tree, the house, fences, lines and access, and tell you whether pruning or removal makes more sense. The estimate is free.
- Plan the takedown. In open yards we may fell a tree in one direction; near homes we take it apart from the bucket truck in sections.
- Clean up. Brush gets chipped or hauled, logs are loaded out with our grapple, and the yard is raked.
- Grind the stump. Our stump grinding leaves the area ready for soil and sod.
That process covers everything from a single tree removal to a full day of tree trimming on a large lot.
Near the Water: Ferran Park to the Dora Canal
Lakefront homes in Eustis, and those along the canal that links Lake Eustis to Lake Dora, often have cypress, red maples, laurel oaks and cabbage palms growing close to the shoreline. Those trees lean toward the light over the water and can drop limbs onto docks and boat lifts. We prune them for clearance, remove hazardous ones and keep the cut material out of the lake. Before working right at the shoreline, check with the city or Lake County about any rules for that area; we can explain what is usually needed.

Rural Eustis and the Roads North
Along SR-19, SR-44 and the country roads north toward Umatilla, properties get larger, with pasture, old groves and pine woods. Owners call us for land clearing for new homesites and barns, and for brush clean up to open trails, fence lines and overgrown back acres. We bring a forestry mulcher, track loader and wheel loader with log grapple, so most jobs can be done without burning piles.
Storm Cleanup in Eustis
Eustis is inland, but a hurricane crossing the state can still bring hours of tropical-storm winds, and the sandy ground around the lake loosens after days of rain. Laurel oaks and tall pines are usually the trees that fail. When summer storms or a passing hurricane bring down trees in Eustis, our crews cut them off homes and driveways first, then handle the rest with debris removal. Calls are answered 6 AM to 10 PM, all week long. We also work in neighboring Mount Dora and Tavares.
